Hang Time!

Hey guys!  Here's a few snaps of the hang process last night...
Two Magpies and their buff assistant Richie!! (who actually did all the hard work... we love you Richie!)

I'd just like to say a massive thank you to Sandra, Steph, Lu, Harriet and Satu for taking part in our wee exhibition and for getting all the work to us on time despite the short notice given for the opening.  We hope you all like how the show has been hung, we think it looks rather lovely!  Very much looking forward to the Private View on Thursday 6th (thank you boyfriend for beautiful invite design!), hope to see you there, bring as many friends as you can!

nearly there...

Lovely to meet our exhibiting ladies today!  Sandra, Lu and Harriet all brought their work in this afternoon... still awaiting the delivery of Stephanie's photos, let's hope they're all in one piece coming from Ireland!  With Satu on her way back from Spain we will have the full troop ready to hang on Tuesday night.

The work all looks amazing - a wee bit scary handling Lu's huge unframed original chrysanth painting -
let's hope we don't destroy the walls too on Tues with our drilling... I'm sure it'll be fine.  Whatever the case, I think it is high time for the hologram 3-D-esque picture of Audrey Hepburn to come down.

On another note, if you're about in north London this coming Friday, our friends at the Soulful Gallery will be creating a 6 metre live art mural for Eurostar. 30th April 2010 from 10am-12pm at St Pancras International station.

One more little treasure for our nest...

We thought we could squeeze a few more pictures on the walls of the Mill House, for the gentle, dreamlike collection of nursery rhyme-inspired paintings by Satu Vartiainen.

Hanging next week, we can't wait to get started.  Photos coming up soon...
